FLUOROSCOPY
EXAMS
Fluoroscopy is an imaging exam that uses x-rays to examine a specific part of the body. It differs from a conventional x-ray in that the images are obtained using a special image receptor that creates a “moving picture” of the body part being examined in real time, rather that just a still image. At Cascade Radiology Imaging we use both conventional Fluoroscopy and Digital Fluoroscopy. Read more... The upper gastrointestinal (GI) series uses XRays to diagnose problems in the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum (first part of the small intestine). It may also be used to examine the small intestine.
